Dual mode DHW cylinders
Dual mode DHW cylinders work to heat the DHW with separate indirect coils that are connected directly to the solar thermal system. DHW is also heated by a boiler via an indirect coil arranged in the upper section of the cylinder. |
Heating water buffer cylinder
Heating water buffer cylinders are cylinders that temporarily store excess thermal energy from heat generators which is not currently needed and transferred back to the heating system when there is a demand again. The heat generators can be boilers, heat pumps, CHP units including micro CHP units, or solar thermal systems. The combi cylinder is a combination of heating water buffer cylinder and DHW cylinder. Heat is transferred for DHW heating via an internal heat exchanger. |
